This generator features a Bessel-null test tone, dual stereo inputs, 10-segment LED-bar meters, AGC, and both composite baseband and 4.5 MHz outputs. The MTS-5 contains an internal power supply and SAP can easily be added at any time. Each unit occupies 1/2 of a PMU422 panel mount (1 3/4" high, 19" wide).
· SAP-1: GENERATOR, BTSC SAP (Second Audio Program) $885.
This is a stand-alone unit which contains a main channel mixer to permit both the main audio program and the second audio program to feed a monaural, but BTSC-compatible, TV audio modulator. New this year the SAP-1 has AGC (Automatic Gain Control) on both audio channels. This SAP generator may be used alone or in conjunction with a BTSC stereo generator. If the TV channel is converted to stereo, the SAP-1's Second Audio Program subcarrier may be fed to the SAP input of the BTSC generator and can be configured for two SAP audio inputs, facilitating switch-over from the primary SAP program to an auxiliary input, such as a local commercial insert. . The SAP-1 contains an internal power supply. Each unit occupies 1/3 of a PMU413 panel mount (1 3/4" high, 19" wide).
· SAP-2: GENERATOR, BTSC SAP (Second Audio Program) $675.
This SAP generator is designed for use with Leaming MTS-2 and MTS-4 series BTSC stereo generators. Dual (A/B) input channels are provided with remote select for local commercial insertion. New this year the SAP-2 has AGC (Automatic Gain Control). Each SAP-2 derives its power either from its respective MTS-2 series generators or the new MTS-4 w/AGC. Each unit occupies 1/3 of a PMU413 panel mount (1 3/4" high, 19" wide).

This SAP generator is designed for use with Leaming MTS-5 BTSC stereo generators. It is an internal plug in board.
